Negative Mitzvah 245: It is forbidden to take other people's possessions by force - "robbery
Leviticus 19:13 "Do not commit robbery"

We are forbidden to take by force anything which does not rightfully belong to us.

When you give for a worthy cause, it is really only a loan and G-d Himself is the guarantor. Furthermore, the more you give, the more you get. I don't mean this figuratively. I say so you will test it and see for yourself.
